About The Position

The position involves operating multiple types of material handling equipment such as Dump Truck, Wheel Loader, Skid Steer Loader, and Forklift in a safe and productive manner. Responsibilities include loading containers, sorting scrap, sampling material, and performing other duties as requested by the Lead or supervisor. The role also requires inspecting equipment prior to operation, fueling, and lubricating daily. Additionally, the employee will assist the Lead and Supervisor with identifying and tracking all inventory upgrades and changes in classification to support perpetual inventory goals. There is an opportunity to cross-train on various equipment types and to perform all other duties as requested by the Lead and Supervisor.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of scrap is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple types of material handling equipment i.e. Dump Truck, Wheel Loader, Skid Steer Loader and Forklift, in a safe and productive manner.

• Inspect Equipment prior to operation, fuel, lubricate daily.
