About The Position

The Assembler at Regal Rexnord is responsible for the assembly, sub-assembly, painting, and packaging of speed reducers. This role involves following established methods and standards to ensure quality and efficiency in the production process. The Assembler will work in a manufacturing environment, utilizing various tools and equipment to complete tasks while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 2 years of previous experience in an assembly position required.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly desired.
• Experience using power hand tools is desired.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and critical thinking skills.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness and ability to work occasional extended hours, including overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assemble product according to established methods, procedures, and standards.
• Perform assembly of special units from engineering prints and blueprints.
• Use air impact wrenches, assorted hand tools, and other equipment in assembly work.
• Operate hand arbor presses, pneumatic and hydraulic presses for assembly of certain units.
• Inspect each completed unit to ensure correct and complete assembly.
• Complete required documentation and report of daily work.
• Perform painting process for completed units for shipment according to established methods.
• Inspect units to assure housings are free from lubricant and dirt prior to painting.
• Package painted units and ensure that all units are packed correctly.
