Plant the seeds of knowledge and faith as a Kindergarten Teacher at St. Mary Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year! We are looking for an individual with a passion for educating youth and the Catholic faith, to help our children grow and flourish. Location: St. Mary Elementary School Job Description: Promote the mission of Bishop O’Gorman Catholic Schools and model the teaching of the Catholic Church Support the growth and development of students in their faith Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging instructional activities aligned with system curriculum maps that encourage active learning and student participation Monitor and evaluate student performance, provide timely feedback on assignments, and maintain accurate records of grades and progress Foster a welcoming and disciplined classroom environment while supporting students through pastoral care, encouragement, and mentorship Communicate regularly with parents, students, and staff regarding student progress and needs as well as attend parent-teacher conferences, school events, and departmental meetings to support the school community Take responsibility for classroom resources and the school environment, including creating bulletin boards and managing supplies Integrate relevant technology into teaching and stay up to date on new methods, resources, and developments in education to enhance instruction

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
• Catholic in good standing with ability to be a spiritual leader of Bishop O†Gorman Catholic Schools
• State certification
• Exhibit the core values of Bishop O†Gorman Catholic Schools: Faith, Unity, Excellence, and Integrity
• Knowledge of relevant technology
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Good problem solving and decision-making skills
• Self-motivated with high energy
• Ability to work daytime hours, primarily Monday-Friday
• Clarity of vision
• Ability to speak English clearly
• Ability to hear and distinguish sounds, including speech, alarms and other work environment sounds
• Fine hand motor skills to include and not limited to keyboarding, writing, grasping, holding, and repetitive motion
• Ability to frequently sit, walk and stand through work day
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
• Ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to intermittently bend, squat, and reach overhead
