About The Position
We are seeking a skilled 1st Class Welder/Fitter to join our team. This role involves fitting, fabricating, and welding structural components and piping systems according to specifications and blueprints. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality and safety.
Requirements
- Experience as a 1st Class Welder/Fitter
- Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
- Proficient in welding processes (SMAW, FCAW, GTAW as applicable)
- Strong fitting, layout, and measurement skills
- Ability to pass weld tests (if required)
- Reliable transportation
- 3 years
Nice To Haves
- Experience with structural steel and/or pipe welding
- Shipyard, fabrication, or industrial experience
- AWS certifications
- OSHA training
Responsibilities
