About The Position

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced 1st Class Marine Welders for a project located in Newport News, VA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $45/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements

• Ability to properly use fillet & butt weld gauges
• Experience working in a physically demanding environment, shipboard, sub-assemblies, ladders, staging etc
• Must pass various weld test

Responsibilities

• Multi-pass, all position fillet & butt welds using various processes
• Heating oxygen/propane heating torch
• Air carbon arc gouging
