We are looking for a Surgical First Assist/Surgical Technologist for our Team that is committed to clinical excellence and building a patient-centered culture. The surgical first assistant will interact with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses and other health care staff. You will work very closely with patients. Responsibilities include before, during, and after surgical procedures. Assists in preparing rooms with appropriate instruments, sutures, supplies, medications and equipment, opens sterile supplies, sets up for procedures and maintains an orderly surgical field.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum of 1 year of Surgical Assistant experience in a hospital operating room or surgery center.
• Current BLS certification.
• Meet all Employee Health Requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in General surgery, Orthopedic, Gynecology, and Plastics.
• Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
• ACLS certification.

Responsibilities
