Requirements

• Active RN License in good standing (required).
• Previous pediatric, school health, or public health experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively.
• Six (6) months of recent experience in a clinical or school health setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to student, including first aid, medication administration, and chronic health condition management.
• Travel between Home and School setting to provide care.
• Conduct health screenings and maintain accurate health records.
• Serve as a resource for health-related issues and emergencies.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure students’ health needs are met.
• Enhance the educational process by addressing health-related barriers to learning and promoting wellness.
