About The Position

The 19th Hole Waitstaff/Bar position is a dynamic role focused on delivering exceptional customer service in a vibrant social setting, typically associated with our golf clubhouse/sports bar venue. The primary goal is to ensure guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience by providing prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service of food and beverages. This role requires attentiveness to guest needs, efficient order taking, and accurate delivery of drinks and meals while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The waitstaff will also collaborate closely with kitchen team to coordinate service flow and handle any guest inquiries or concerns professionally. Ultimately, this position contributes significantly to the venue’s reputation and customer satisfaction, encouraging repeat visits and positive word-of-mouth recommendations.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid alcohol service certification
  • Strong mathematical abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Physical stamina for extended standing
  • Cash handling experience

  • Previous bartending experience: 1 year

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide menus, explaining daily specials and answering questions about food and beverage options.
  • Take accurate orders for food and drinks, ensuring all guest preferences and dietary restrictions are noted and communicated to the kitchen and bar staff.
  • Serve beverages and meals promptly while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor throughout the guest interaction.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction continuously, addressing any issues or requests promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, including setting and clearing tables, restocking supplies, and adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and electronic transactions with integrity.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods and support overall venue operations.
