The 19th Hole Bartender provides exceptional service to members and guests at the Club’s 19th Hole Lounge, a long-standing tradition of hospitality in the clubhouse. This role requires both skill in beverage preparation and the ability to meet the physical and operational demands associated with a fast-paced, high-volume lounge environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of bartending experience, preferably in a country club, resort, or upscale dining environment.
  • Knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktail preparation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs., and manage the physical demands of a high-volume lounge.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and working under pressure.
  • Valid Food Handler and TABC certification required within the first 30 days of work.
  • Requires weekend, holiday, and evening availability.
  • Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet members and guests promptly and professionally, maintaining the Club’s high standards of hospitality.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
  • Take orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service and verify legal drinking age for all guests.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bar area, including restocking supplies as needed.
  • Assist with setup and breakdown for events in the lounge or adjacent areas.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Follow all Club policies, health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
