About The Position

Qualitest is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer/SDET to join our US team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable API solutions and policies, leveraging AWS and Go technologies. This role requires expertise in API management, integration workflows, and ensuring secure and reliable backend systems.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Backend Developer/SDET with strong programming skills in Go and cloud experience with AWS.
  • Solid understanding of API design, development, and management using SOAP/REST.
  • Experience with API management platforms such as Axway or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of security standards and authentication protocols (OAuth, SSL/TLS, PKI).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy robust API solutions and policies utilizing AWS cloud services and Go programming language.
  • Implement SOAP and RESTful web services along with API proxies, including routing rules, filters, and custom policies.
  • Develop and maintain integration workflows for B2B and application-to-application data exchanges.
  • Configure and manage endpoint policies and workflows across diverse integration scenarios.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
  • Design and implement architecturally compliant system landscapes for API management, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Monitor system performance, security, and availability on the Axway platform.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to application teams and stakeholders regarding API usage and best practices.
  • Administer custom environments, including deployment of patches, upgrades, and capacity monitoring.
  • Enforce API security policies and implement authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, SSL/TLS, and PKI.
  • Advise development teams on API design adhering to architectural and security standards.
  • Document integration processes, configurations, workflows, and technical designs clearly and comprehensively.
