About The Position

Holland & Knight is seeking a Patent Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join its Intellectual Property Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background particularly in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering. Some litigation experience, registration with the USPTO, and/or large law firm experience are preferred. Qualified candidates must have an excellent academic record, superior organizational and communication skills (written and oral), a demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional client service and a creative and entrepreneurial perspective on IP. This position may be filled in Illinois or Texas.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in patent litigation
• Strong technical background in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering
• Some litigation experience
• Registration with the USPTO
• Large law firm experience (preferred)
• Excellent academic record
• Superior organizational and communication skills (written and oral)
