About The Position
As a Store Manager at Burlington Stores, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our new Henderson, NC location, set to open in Fall 2024. This position is ideal for individuals looking to advance their retail management careers with one of the largest and fastest-growing off-price retailers in the nation. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, ensuring that sales results are maximized while embodying the core values of Burlington. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a team environment built on trust, respect, and integrity, while also driving innovative ideas to enhance store performance. In this role, you will manage a multi-million dollar store operation, which includes direct oversight of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates. You will ensure that all team members are fulfilling their responsibilities and adhering to established company policies and standards. Your ability to lead by example will be essential in delivering excellent customer service and creating a world-class shopping experience for our customers. You will take ownership of day-to-day merchandising, operations, and service management tasks, ultimately being accountable for the overall success of the store and the development of your team. Your responsibilities will also include collaborating with various departments to coordinate merchandise placement, sales promotions, and pricing strategies. You will manage the store's sales volume and expense budget, ensuring accuracy in inventory management and reporting. Additionally, you will be involved in the recruitment, screening, and hiring of new associates, facilitating their onboarding and training, and providing ongoing coaching to ensure their success within the organization.
