About The Position
The position involves representing the interests of various entities in the region regarding VDOT's planning, programming, policy, preliminary engineering, construction, maintenance, and operations processes while also representing VDOT interests and positions to assigned jurisdictions in the same functional areas. The role includes providing advice and direction to district and Central Office management staff, as well as municipalities, consultants, and support staff. The individual will supervise staff providing analysis and support for assigned program areas by planning, developing, monitoring, and evaluating complex projects and programs.
