Job Description Summary: Performs and completes diagnostic procedures and follows guidelines set by Grant/Riverside and Radiologic Association. This position prepares patients for examinations and performs diagnostic radiology procedures following guidelines set by OhioHealth and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Requirements

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• ORD - Ohio Radiographers - Ohio Department of Health
• Graduate of an approved accredited radiography program
• Registered with ARRT
• Licensed to practice in the State of Ohio

Responsibilities

• Conducts routine radiographic studies in diagnostics
• Conducts routine and specialized fluoroscopic studies utilizing digital fluoroscope equipment; maintains proficiency in each of these areas
• Provides radiation safety for operator and patient
• Places patient in proper positions for procedures, adhering to department policy regarding routine
