About The Position

Requirements

• Certified EMT or Second Semester RN Nursing Student
• BLS Required Upon Hire

Responsibilities

• Assist RN's and MDs in providing technical care to patients.
• Perform phlebotomy and IV starts.
• Conduct 12 lead EKGs.
• Transport patients to other departments.
• Place patients on cardiac and vital sign monitors.
• Perform Point of Care Testing.
• Provide wound care and insert foley catheters.
• Obtain lab specimens and document all care/procedures provided.
• Assist the Emergency Physician with technical support such as suturing simple lacerations.
• Clean equipment and workspace.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
