Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced psychiatrist to join our dynamic team in a 1099 role. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment, to clients with a wide range of mental health disorders. The psychiatrist will work collaboratively with our team of psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Completed residency in Psychiatry.
- Valid medical license to practice in Tennessee, Washington, Illinois, Kentucky and Nevada.
- Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of child and adolescent mental health disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for clients in an in-patient setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe and manage medication as necessary.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling as part of treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Participate in case conferences, treatment planning meetings, and other collaborative efforts.
- Stay current with developments in child and adolescent psychiatry and participate in continuing education activities.
