About The Position

We are actively hiring skilled and experienced 1099 Independent Contractors specializing in kitchen remodeling and need to fill these positions ASAP. As a contractor, you will be responsible for completing high-quality kitchen remodels, including cabinet installations, countertop replacements, and finishing work. This role requires expertise in general carpentry, cabinetry, and kitchen renovation techniques. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and committed to delivering outstanding craftsmanship while representing Expo Home Improvement's standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in general carpentry, cabinetry, and kitchen remodeling.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Ability to work independently while maintaining company integrity and quality standards.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials, climb stairs, and work in physically demanding conditions.
Must have a reliable vehicle capable of transporting supplies to job sites.
Own necessary tools for kitchen remodeling installations.
Must provide proof of General Liability insurance.
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

Perform full kitchen remodels, including cabinet installation, countertop replacement, and finishing touches per company specifications and local building codes.
Ensure all installations are completed with high attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Safely load, transport, and unload materials to job sites.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners, keeping them informed throughout the installation process.
Maintain a professional appearance and work ethic, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Conduct a final walkthrough with customers to ensure satisfaction and demonstrate functionality of completed installations.
Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
Adhere to manufacturer specifications and company installation standards.
Maintain all necessary licensing, insurance, and certifications required for work.
Work closely with the Installation Manager to ensure project timelines and quality expectations are met.
Troubleshoot unforeseen situations on-site and communicate effectively with the management team.
Provide accurate and timely project updates and required documentation.
