About the position

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for a Concierge Agent who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our Concierge Agents have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
  • Resolves customer complaints and assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
  • Works at the concierge desk and in the back of house to assist guests curating a memorable itinerary through phone calls, emails, live chat platform, and online requests.
  • Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner making recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel practices.
  • Works closely with the rest of the team on the daily tasks and ensures proper notes and handover are left for a smooth workflow between the morning and afternoon teams.
  • Coordinates guest's requests and anticipates any guest's needs by working closely with other departments.
  • Constantly learns and studies new restaurants, new activities, and other local attractions on the island and on the resort to always provide the most updated and current knowledge.
  • Recommends activities, restaurants, and vendors according to the guest profile and needs.
  • Utilizes a variety of software programs to accurately secure activities and dining reservations and to input special arrangements the guest has made.
  • Processes packages, faxes, messages, and mail which may be either outgoing or incoming in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Acts as an ambassador of the golden rule.

Requirements

  • Previous Concierge and/or Guest facing roles in luxury hospitality industry.
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
  • Flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel; Opera is a plus.
  • Ability to accurately read and work with computer systems.
  • Ability to stand at the desk and multitask.
  • Strong Customer Service skills.
