About The Position

The Operations Support Consultant 1 position requires the application of in-depth knowledge of professional standards and precedents in the area of specialty. The role involves working on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Incumbents are accountable for the quality of work delivered by external suppliers and have decision-making authority to deliver on team goals. The position may lead a multi-functional work group or project team and is responsible for establishing and executing consulting agreements with project sponsors and leaders. The consultant will also promote the use of change management within Celestica and provide guidance on effective practices.

Requirements

• Eight plus years of experience in a relevant field.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced knowledge in engineering, business, supply chain management, organization design, operational and quality processes.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Knowledge in database design, system architecture, business process re-engineering, and software engineering processes.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO, TL, QS, and Baldrige.

Responsibilities

• Procures or adapts change management tools for use on Celestica projects and initiatives.
• Procures or develops education to support the use of the change management methodology.
• Provides change management knowledge transfer to internal consultants, project leaders, and sponsors.
• Provides guidance to project leaders and sponsors on effective change management practices.
• Establishes and executes consulting agreements and measures with project sponsors and leaders.
• Promotes the use of change management within Celestica.
