About The Position

BridgePoint Hospital is looking for a Respiratory Therapist - RRT or CRT. The Respiratory Therapist - RRT or CRT will practice under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Services Medical Director and Cardiopulmonary Director. The Respiratory Therapist - RRT or CRT is responsible for providing cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with specific physicians orders, department policies, and procedures. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program with a minimum level of Associate Degree in Respiratory - RT.
• Current credentials as a Respiratory Care Practitioner - RT in accordance with the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Current Respiratory (RT or CRT) License from the District of Columbia.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• 1 year of RT - respiratory care experience as a licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with specific physicians orders, department policies, and procedures.
• Practice under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Services Medical Director and Cardiopulmonary Director.
