About The Position

CareGivers is looking for an RN Supervisor to join our team in the Schenectady NY area. This is not your typical nursing job. You'll travel to client homes within our service area (primarily Schenectady & Albany Counties, but could also include Saratoga County) but you'll be based out of our Schenectady NY office. Duties include performing staff supervision/on the job training in client homes, and conducting client assessments. This is the perfect opportunity for a retired RN that still wants to make a difference in their community! Also great for RN's looking to pick up extra hours, or for RN's looking to work around school schedules. Part time hours offer great flexibility!

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Nurse currently licensed in New York State
• At least one year experience as an RN (recent experience preferred)
• At least six months of supervisory experience (preferred)
• Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule
• Must meet health requirements
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license required

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of home health regulations (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform staff supervision and on-the-job training in client homes
• Conduct client assessments
• Ensure that home care clients receive the highest quality care
• Supervise the implementation of the physician's plan of treatment
• Develop a plan of care and evaluate client needs and employee performance
• Perform medication setups for clients
• Conduct insurance assessments

• Competitive hourly rate of $33 - $38 depending on home care experience
