About The Position

Billion Automotive is a family-owned business since 1935, known for its commitment to customer satisfaction. We are a growing multi-state organization with over 25 locations across Iowa, Minnesota, and South Dakota. Billion Auto of Clinton is currently hiring Service Technicians, including Used Car Techs, Line Techs, and Entry Level Techs. This position offers a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 for qualified applicants.

Requirements

• Experience repairing and diagnosing vehicles
• ASE certification a plus
• Maintain a positive dynamic attitude with the ability to recover quickly from setbacks
• Have tools necessary to perform automotive repairs
• Possess a valid driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnose cause of most malfunctions and perform repair.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Examine assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
• Communicate with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Report machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
• Ensure that customers' cars are kept clean and notify service advisor immediately of any changes in the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
