About The Position
MaineGeneral Health is a comprehensive non-profit system with the mission of enhancing, every day, the health of our patients, our families and our communities. The role is for a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) on 1 West, which is a 36 bed med/surg unit focusing on cardiac, stroke, and higher-acuity medical patients. This position involves providing direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. The position is for 36 hours on the night shift (7p-7a), working three 12-hour shifts per week, including weekend and holiday rotation. There is a $4000 Early Acceptance Incentive for nursing students who apply at least 6 weeks prior to graduation and sign their offer letter within 1 week of the offer being presented.
