About The Position

The 1st Shift Hourly Production position at Pilgrim's involves processing products in accordance with USDA and company standards. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred but not required.
• Ability to comprehend simple instructions and apply common sense.
• Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to work in cool temperatures (around 40 degrees).
• Ability to stand and use hands for 8-11 hours per day.
• Ability to multitask and work quickly.
• Good communication skills and hand-eye coordination required.
• Food or production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process product using tools and equipment according to USDA and company standards.
• Observe equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
