About The Position

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position could work in any department of this meat processing facility that may include but is not limited to 1st and 2nd Processing, 1st and 2nd Packaging, 1st and 2nd shift Shipping and Receiving and 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift Smokehouse. Applicants will be considered for any general labor type openings.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to work in cold, damp, or hot and humid environments.
• Ability to work on slippery walking surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform entry level non-skilled general labor tasks.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Adhere to Tyson policies and procedures.
• Work in various departments including Processing, Packaging, Shipping and Receiving, and Smokehouse.
• Stand, walk, bend, squat, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach as required.
• Lift up to 40 lbs or more if required.
• Stand for 8-10 hours on hard floors.
• Perform repetitive motions as required.
