About The Position

Squire Patton Boggs is seeking outstanding first-year law students for its 2025 Summer Associate Program in Miami, Florida. Summer associates will engage in complex transactions, disputes, and policy matters, gaining exposure to various practice areas while receiving mentorship from partners and associates.

Requirements

• Rising 1L student at an ABA-approved law school.
• Record of outstanding academic achievement, preferably in the top 25% of class or a GPA of 3.5 and above.
• Work experience prior to law school is highly valued.
• Strong personal drive and legal acumen.

Nice To Haves

• Foreign language skills and multicultural experience prior to law school are a plus.
• Geographical ties.

Responsibilities

• Work on complex, high-level transactions, disputes, and policy matters.
• Participate in a work allocation system to gain exposure to various assignments.
• Receive mentorship from partners and associates.
• Attend workshops and seminars on legal writing and pro bono opportunities.
