The position involves supporting a school-age child with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) to achieve the goals set by the student's teacher and related services team. The role includes assisting in the implementation of individualized goals, following policies and procedures for care and safety, and providing personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs). The employee will motivate the student to participate in interactions, provide support during therapy sessions, and ensure the health and safety of students in various settings. Responsibilities also include feeding the student according to dietary plans, assisting in emergency evacuations, and performing other assigned duties.
