About The Position
JOB GOAL:To work with an individual student with special needs.
Responsibilities
- Works with a student with special needs and supports her/him in instructional and non-instructional settings, using as directed by the special education teacher.
- Reinforce learning of materials or skills initially introduced by the teacher.
- Communicate with general education teachers any special information they need to know.
- Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about the student as is expected of a fully licensed teacher.
- Perform related duties as directed by the building principal and/or the Director of Special Education.
