About The Position

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to ensure safe and efficient processing of soups and sauces.

Requirements

• Previous machine operation experience in a food manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Understanding of food safety practices and manufacturing standards (GMP, HACCP).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends or overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start, operate, and shut down production machinery in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Monitor equipment during operation to ensure consistent performance and product quality.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic troubleshooting.
• Report mechanical issues to maintenance and assist with minor repairs as needed.
• Follow batch sheets, recipes, and production instructions accurately.
• Record production data, including yields, downtime, and material usage.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment.
• Comply with all food safety, GMP, and safety regulations.
• Assist with product changeovers and equipment adjustments.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
