Under direct supervision, installs, configures, operates, and maintains network environments Wide Area Network (WAN), Local Area Network (LAN) and Wireless Network (WN), software and related infrastructure and performs related duties as assigned. The role involves participating in the installation, configuration, maintenance and operation of network environments (WAN, LAN, WN) and associated equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, controllers, access points, load balancers) to meet application and core service requirements; managing and monitoring network environments, troubleshooting/resolving identified and reported problems. Additionally, the position requires implementing, maintaining, and operating connectivity for 'internet' and 'cloud solutions', ensuring data and systems are backed up, and network environments are secure by performing security monitoring, vulnerability scanning and remediation. The role also includes asset life cycle management for network equipment and software, assisting in the maintenance and operation of a Data Center, and serving as a technical expert on projects.
