About The Position
In this challenging role, you will be supporting the CPT-Computer Technology department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following: Teach courses in the Computer Technology department including network administration, cybersecurity, programming, and systems administration. Prepare lectures/syllabi. Implement course curriculum and develop/implement new classroom strategies. Adhere to college and department guidelines and requirements. Prepare, implement, and manage students in classroom instruction in both traditional and alternative delivery systems using a variety of methods related to network administration, programming, and systems administration field. Design tests/exams, assign/post grades, and advise students on academic progress. Assist in recruitment/placement of students. Prepare/submit administrative reports. Keep current in technical/professional knowledge through professional development. Perform other duties as assigned. Employee will report to the Computer Technology Department Head.
