About The Position

The Assistant Manager at Sally Beauty is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, ensuring optimal customer experiences, and maintaining brand standards. This role involves developing strategies to achieve key performance indicators and financial targets through business analysis and effective communication. The Assistant Manager will take on all primary duties in the absence of the Store Manager.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred.
• Ability to lead or support a team of associates to meet business objectives.
• Effective communication skills with team and management.
• Scheduling availability to meet the needs of the business.
• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the planning of associates' daily goals and activities to deliver an exceptional client experience.
• Ensure all brand standards are met, including merchandising, marketing, and dress code.
• Act as the main point of contact to resolve customer issues and concerns.
• Engage, train, and develop team members to achieve positive results.
• Recruit and build a strong network of candidates for open positions.
• Manage inventory through ordering and shipment processing.
• Ensure execution of all company processes and support digital strategies.
• Maintain a safe store environment for associates and customers.
• Protect company assets by following inventory and cash control procedures.
