About The Position

HCI | integrated solutions is seeking a Logistics Analyst III- (GSA Retail Support Associate) with the following qualifications. The position requires the ability to work on-site and involves intermediate level logistics and/or retail operations experience. Candidates should possess intermediate level skills with Microsoft Office Word and Excel, along with strong communication and organizational skills. The role demands the ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision. A minimum of three years of experience supporting government retail operations is required, and a high school diploma with an additional two years of experience can be substituted for education. A favorable enter on duty (EOD) determination is required for placement in this position, with final suitability determined by Human Resources.

Responsibilities

  • Provide face-to-face customer service in a retail environment, reviewing and processing sale transactions, inputting receipts, scanning, adjustments, and entering correct 4PL part numbers to item, quantity, unit of issue, and price into the GSA's Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Process order tickets and ensure checkout areas are free of debris and clutter.
  • Assist customers in loading their vehicles of purchases upon request.
  • Perform cashier-like duties in a store environment, validating price, product, quantity, and sales transactions.
  • Enter accurate Activity Address Codes (AAC), Department of Defense Activity Address Codes (DoDAAC), credit card information into GSA POS, answer phones, run computer reports, and perform other related duties.
  • Assist customers in locating products and resolving customer issues.
  • Attend store meetings with customers and GSA personnel.
  • Provide general office administrative support including sorting/distribution of faxes, mail, and other correspondence.
  • Provide order status to customers both telephonically and via email, and maintain soft and/or hard copy files of customer orders.
  • Generate multiple print runs of customer orders via the GSA supply center POS application, match shipping labels to the correct order, and sort and code tickets.
  • Notify and work with the GSA Store Manager to resolve discrepancies, maintain and file documentation in compliance with federal standards.
  • Update files/binders with various data reports, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), instructions, process changes, procedures, and policy updates.
  • Review and process customer orders for completeness and accuracy, send customer confirmation of order receipt, and update an Excel log of all orders placed.
  • Prepare spreadsheets, audit accounts, provide tracking of account receipts, and prepare documentation of all transactions.
  • Ensure that checkout counters are sufficiently staffed during store business hours and stay current with all POS system changes.
  • Research discrepancies for customer, inventory, and financial records, evaluate discrepant returns, and make corrections and adjustments.
