About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. The role involves operating and inspecting mobile and plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation, performing routine maintenance, clean-up, and housekeeping of quarry areas, assisting with plant operations including material handling and equipment monitoring, and supporting production goals by working collaboratively with team members and supervisors. Following all safety policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe work environment is essential.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to work safely around heavy equipment and machinery
• Willingness to work night shifts and flexible hours as needed
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Ability to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions
• Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn quarry operations

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect mobile and plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Perform routine maintenance, clean-up, and housekeeping of quarry areas
• Assist with plant operations including material handling and equipment monitoring
• Support production goals by working collaboratively with team members and supervisors
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe work environment
