About The Position

The Data Center, Server, Cloud Senior IT Manager leads IT staff and ensures operational efficiency, project execution, and alignment with County IT initiatives. This role oversees daily operations and long-term planning for data centers, server infrastructure, and cloud platforms. The manager is responsible for managing, delivering, and implementing technology solutions that drive business values and service excellence. The position involves managing both physical and virtual servers, along with storage and backup systems, with a focus on lifecycle management and capacity planning. Additionally, the manager leads cloud migrations and ongoing optimization efforts across providers like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. The role also includes maintaining a secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-efficient infrastructure that supports critical business applications, while working closely with cybersecurity and compliance teams to support risk assessments and audit processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing IT operations and staff.
  • Strong knowledge of data center operations and server infrastructure.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Ability to manage both physical and virtual server environments.
  • Experience in lifecycle management and capacity planning.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity and compliance requirements.
