We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced U.S.-based Influencer Marketing Manager to join our fully remote team and lead our influencer marketing efforts to help grow our brand awareness and engagement, drive user acquisition, and build a loyal member base.

As the Senior Manager of Influencer Marketing, you’ll be responsible for identifying, recruiting, onboarding, and managing influencer partners across multiple social media platforms, including but not limited to TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram; overseeing our affiliate marketing efforts and scaling our program; and eventually working on broader brand partnership efforts and possible ambassador programs. Throughout, you’ll collaborate closely with the VP of Marketing and the Growth team to create impactful campaigns that resonate with our target audience and drive results.

This role is ideal for a seasoned marketing professional with 5+ years of experience in influencer marketing, social media, and brand partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an influencer marketing strategy and campaigns aligned with broader marketing objectives, business goals, brand values, and industry best practices.
  • Research, identify, and build relationships with relevant and on-brand influencers and creators that match our target audiences and whose content has the potential for impact, both in the short and long term.
  • Stay up-to-date on influencer marketing best practices, legal requirements, and emerging social media platforms and ensure all partners and affiliates adhere to guidelines.
  • Own the influencer editorial calendar and ensure we’re strategic about posting days, times, cadence, etc.
  • Develop creative briefs and ensure influencers have a clear understanding of our brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
  • Review all creator content to ensure it’s on-brand, consistent in style and quality, optimized for user experience across multiple platforms, and ties back into Teal’s broader business goals.
  • Manage the monthly creator and influencer budget, and negotiate terms of partnerships including content deliverables, pricing, usage rights, etc.
  • Manage influencer contracts and payments.
  • Collaborate with the Growth team to concept and adjust briefs for creators based on broader team goals, campaigns, and initiatives and to optimize influencer content.
  • Track campaign results and analyze data to identify trends, ROI, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain updated database and status reports on influencer programs and performance
  • Measure and analyze the impact of influencer deliverables and identify areas of improvement and iteration.
  • Explore and initiate strategic partnerships with brands and organizations that complement Teal’s mission and expand our reach.
  • Build out and implement an affiliate marketing strategy that builds upon relationships with existing affiliates with the goal of increasing brand awareness.
  • Develop and implement brand ambassador program

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of direct experience in influencer marketing or related field, either in-house or at an agency
  • SaaS experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver
  • Data-driven with the ability to analyze campaign performance
  • Experience overseeing campaigns across multiple social platforms
  • Familiarity with TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram and what each platform requires for effective influencer partnerships
  • Knowledge of influencer marketing best practices and metrics
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple deliverables, troubleshoot creative challenges, and deliver on schedule

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience working in a startup environment or an interest in working for a fast-paced, early-stage startup
  • Experience in the SaaS space
  • Experience building an influencer program from the ground up in-house
  • Affiliate marketing experience

What Great Looks Like

At 1 Day

  • You will have become familiar with Teal's products and offerings
  • You will have set up your hardware and software
  • You will have set up time to connect with the other members of the Growth team to better understand the team goals, dynamics, and values

At 1 Week

  • You will have evaluated our existing creator and influencer partnerships
  • You will have a solid understanding of what influencer work Teal's done so far and what the current process looks like
  • You will have a grasp on the current workflow so that you can make recommendations accordingly, and will have introduced yourself to existing creators/partners to start forming relationships

At 1 Month

  • You have a good understanding of Teal’s current influencer marketing strategy and processes and workflows and are comfortably integrated into the team
  • You’ve audited Teal’s current creator partnerships and have recommendations for how we can improve and iterate across the primary channels
  • You’ve fully taken over ownership of the influencer editorial calendar, become the point person for new relationships, and identified 3-5 potential new influencers to work with in the next month

At 3 Months

  • We are in flow, moving at speed because of the prior foundational work, and getting into the rhythm of being a well-oiled machine
  • You’ll have researched our niche and put together an influencer marketing strategy that supports our broader business objectives for the upcoming quarter and drives user sign-ups
  • You’ll have ideas for which new channels we can experiment with (and why), and suggestions for which creators to partner with on those platforms
  • We’ll see an increase in branded search and sign-ups that directly correlate to the strategy you’ve implemented

What We Offer

  • Salary: $90,000-110,000
