We’re looking for a fully remote, US-based Performance Marketing Manager to accelerate Teal’s growth. You will be working with our CEO and Marketing team to create and manage Teal’s paid marketing programs. Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Allocate budgets, paid media spend and analyze and recommend modifications to ad spends
  • Manage daily paid search campaign implementation, optimization, testing, and performance measurement
  • Leverage A/B testing to help inform our overall growth strategy; running experiments across the customer acquisition funnel and developing analytical systems to support market research
  • Monitor incoming data relating to campaign and channel performance, derive insights and report results, and serve as an advisor to product marketing on outcomes and recommendations
  • Continuously evaluate existing channels and test new channels and trends (such as Youtube, TikTok, Hulu and Out of Home)
  • Stay up-to-date on performance marketing and paid search best practices and trends, while also representing the Growth Marketing team as a subject matter expert in paid channels

Requirements

  • Belief and excitement in the company's mission & product
  • At least 3+ years of performance marketing experience at a high growth company or media agency managing SEM, Facebook/Instagram and/or TikTok ad campaigns (tracking, planning, reporting)
  • A deep understanding and excitement for performance-based media and measurement
  • Experience working across the full acquisition marketing funnel (customer acquisition, conversion & re engagement )
  • Expert level knowledge of Facebook Business Manager & Google Ads Manager
  • A background in owning and managing a budget, forecasting, and delivering on monthly goals of spend, CPC, CAC, and LTV
  • Understanding of and experience implementing both last click and multi-click attribution schemas
  • Experience developing and monitoring media pacing and performance dashboards
  • You have a test and learn mindset, with a strong bias toward action, self-start, and can quickly adjust priorities based on data driven insights
  • Strong verbal and written english communication skills
  • Empathetic, strong work ethic and creative problem solver

Nice-to-haves

  • Working in an early stage company (series Seed & A) & high growth environment (e.g. startups) with the quick iteration and turnaround time on projects
  • Experience with other paid channels such as YouTube, Programmatic, Native or display 
  • Experience working in a 100% remote environment

What Great Looks Like

At 1 month:

  • The focus of month 1 is learning. Learning about our users, their challenges, and how we solve them.
  • You will become a Teal power user and understand the ins and outs of our tools and features.
  • You will have audited our current channels, funnels, and growth loop and have initial recommendations for improvement.
  • You will have preliminary ideas on how to accelerate Teal’s growth.
  • You will have launched at least 2 paid marketing campaigns.

At 3 months:

  • You will have a strong command of CAC to LTV.
  • You will know which channels we will be “doubling down” on.
  • You will have a better sense of the most effective growth loops for Teal.
  • You will have a deep understanding of our full cycle conversion funnel.

At 6 months:

  • You will be setting and managing our paid marketing budget with a profitable CAC to LTV funnel.
  • You will have tested 3+ channels to optimize paid marketing.
  • You will have partnered with the SEO & social teams to design a holistic marketing strategy.

  • Salary: $92,000/year (Level 3, Step 2)
