We’re looking for a fully remote, US-based  Growth Marketing Manager. You will be working directly with our CEO and Growth team to grow Teal's member base and ensure it aligns with business objectives. Join us as we build the first truly consumer-first platform to help people grow and manage their careers.


  • CRO, landing page and funnel optimization – including learning SEO
  • Data analytics on customers and product, including using , etc.
  • Analytics and strategy to improve retention metrics such as LTV, churn, conversion % to paid users, etc.
  • Creating measurable strategies and campaigns that can scale
  • Collaborating with other departments to decide which metrics/KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to focus on.
  • Drive, lead, and monitor A/B & split tests to optimize conversion and other key performance metrics.
  • Bringing traditional and creative ideas on how to grow those KPIs and driving A/B testing of those ideas.
  • Analyzing both quantitative data and qualitative user feedback.
  • Exchanging ideas/data/feedback with other departments (product, marketing, top management) in order to present results and make the product more user-centric.
  • Understanding conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles and hacks and being able to apply CRO hacks to any businesses.
  • Working with the AARRR Sales Metrics Diagram (Acquisition–Activation–Retention–Referral–Revenue).
  • Optimizing and prioritizing channels in order to always improve the performance of one’s business.
  • Daily, weekly, monthly quarterly full-funnel insights & analytics
  • Work closely with paid marketing agencies and oversee the paid media budget


  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong experimenting and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of growth marketing channels.
  • Deep knowledge, expertise, and a successful track record of developing and leading high ROI growth strategies for a SaaS product.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to analyze data across multiple channels (SEM, Social, Web, etc)
  • A deep understanding of paid and organic growth channels
  • Experience working across the full acquisition marketing funnel (customer acquisition, conversion & re engagement )
  • Understanding of and experience implementing both last click and multi-click attribution schemas
  • A background in owning and managing a budget, forecasting, and delivering on monthly goals of spend, CPC, CAC, and LTV
  • You have a test and learn mindset, with a strong bias toward action, self-start, and can quickly adjust priorities based on data driven insights


  • Working in an early stage company (series Seed & A) & high growth environment (e.g. startups) with the quick iteration and turnaround time on projects.
  • Setting up marketing processes and campaigns in a way that can be easily scaled as the company continues to grow.
  • Experience with other paid channels such as YouTube, Programmatic, Native or display
  • Experience working in a 100% remote environment

What Great Looks Like

At 1 week:

  • The focus of week 1 is learning. Learning about our users, their challenges, and how we solve them.
  • You will become a Teal power user and understand the ins and outs of our tools and features.
  • You will have launched a small A/B test on the teal website
  • You will study our existing data sets and growth platforms.

At 1 month:

  • You will have audited our current channels, funnels, and growth loops.
  • You will have a deep understanding of our existing data sets and growth platforms.
  • You will have audited our funnels & growth strategy & performance to date.
  • You will have preliminary ideas on how to accelerate Teal’s growth.

At 3 months:

  • You have led the successful launches 5-10 growth experiments (we run them weekly & bi-weekly)
  • You will have command of our various growth channels
  • You will have a strong command of CAC to LTV
  • You will know which channels we will be “doubling down” on
  • You will have a better sense of the most effective growth loops for Teal

What We Offer

  • Salary: $87,000/year
  • Incentive Stock Options proportionate to salary
  • Fully remote work & remote office stipend (coworking, laptop, etc.)

  • As mentioned we are fully remote, however once per year we pay for the entire company to fly to the same city for a week of fun projects and general team building, think hackathons, boat rides and great food.

  • 30 minute Zoom with 1 Teal person
  • We make sure to preserve 10 minutes for your questions. 
  • We will provide the question and guidance  in advance.

2nd Interview

  • Goals: Deeper understanding of qualifications
  • 1 hour Zoom with 1 to 2 Teal people 
  • First 30 minutes we will dive into a past project
  • Second 30 minutes we will talk through a current Teal challenge
  • All material will be provided in advance

Final Interview

  • Goal: Meet more of the Team
  • 30 minute zoom with 1 to 2 Teal people
