You would be both managing the engineers as well as project managing our feature rollouts.

  • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new front-end engineering talent. Contribute to the growth of the team by identifying top talent and helping to build a diverse and high-performing team.
  • Act as a bridge between the front-end engineering team and the CTO, as well as other departments. Ensure clear communication, alignment of goals, and a deep understanding of the business objectives.
  • Identify potential risks or technical challenges early in the project lifecycle and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
  • While your primary responsibility will be management and project management, you will still code when possible. This might equate to 20% to 30% of your time.

  • 2+ years of direct management or team leadership including hiring, performance management and project delivery timelines
  • 5+ years experience of hands on front end development with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and Typescript
