About The Position

Join our team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA as a Yeast Extract Process Engineer under a VIE contract for 18 months. You will be involved in optimizing production processes, supporting new equipment start-ups, and contributing to new product development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in food-industrial engineering
• At least 1 year of industrial field experience (postgraduate)
• Fluent English is mandatory
• Solid knowledge of unit operations of industrial processes
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment with autonomy, initiative, and teamwork skills
• Strong communication skills and a hands-on engineering mindset

Responsibilities

• Optimize production processes (autolysis, microfiltration, drying, etc.) alongside the group's industrial management
• Support the drying department at Cedar Rapids
• Conduct and coordinate studies and continuous improvement actions in terms of time, organization, and cost
• Participate in the start-up of new installations
• Lead industrial trials
• Take on other assigned projects
