About The Position

Bolsa Medical Group is seeking a skilled X-Ray Technician to join their radiology team on a per diem basis. This part-time role involves working 1 to 2 Saturdays per month, primarily responsible for operating X-ray equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures on patients, ensuring patient care and safety throughout the process.

Requirements

• Certified Radiologic Technologist (Required)
• Registered with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with active and valid certification.
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and aseptic technique.
• Ability to operate X-ray equipment effectively and safely.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in imaging procedures.
• Experience in performing X-rays.

Nice To Haves

• Vietnamese language proficiency preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray studies on patients following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Prepare and position patients for X-ray imaging.
• Adjust and maintain imaging equipment to ensure quality images are produced.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
• Perform DEXA studies.
• Maintain daily records on all X-ray examinations.
• Monitor and report compliance on an ongoing basis.
• Maintain all X-ray equipment, including calibration, QA/QC procedures, and record keeping in accordance with current policy and procedures.
• Maintain accurate technologist and radiologist credentials.
