About The Position

Bayview Physicians Services, one of the fastest growing medical groups in Virginia, has an exciting, full-time opportunity for an X-Ray Technologist within our Urgent Care centers. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist preferred.
• Virginia license.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform all radiological procedures as requested and as needed.
• Provide patient care and ensure patient safety from radiation hazards.
• Assure all physician requests for services are rendered in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist in quality assurance monitoring.
• Ensure all rooms are stocked with necessary supplies.
• Clean equipment after each patient.
• Obtain prior mammogram films from outside facilities for comparison.
• Record all necessary information properly.
• Answer all telephone calls.
• Assist receptionist by scheduling patients for x-ray procedures and provide special instructions to patients as needed.
• Maintain annual compliance education.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor and physicians.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Present to work on time as scheduled.
