About The Position

The WebMethods Application Support Specialist will provide essential production support for webMethods applications, ensuring smooth operations both on-premises and in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role requires independent development and implementation of webMethods integrations, along with collaboration with various teams to maintain high service levels. The position is onsite in Columbus, OH, and involves periodic on-call and after-hours support.

Requirements

  • Strong experience supporting webMethods applications in both on-premises and cloud environments (GCP preferred).
  • Expertise with webMethods integrations and related tools.
  • Familiarity with logging frameworks/tools such as Dynatrace and Kibana is a must have.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide production support, including ticket handling, SME support, and implementation assistance.
  • Support webMethods applications hosted on-premises and in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Independently develop, enhance, triage, test, and implement webMethods integrations using SOAP and REST.
  • Work extensively with webMethods products such as Integration Server, Designer, Universal Messaging, MWS, and Trading Networks (TN).
  • Utilize logging frameworks and tools like Dynatrace and Kibana.
  • Coordinate with technical and non-technical teams for smooth operations.
  • Create and maintain support documentation, including design artifacts, test strategies, test cases, and knowledge transfer (KT) materials.
  • Follow release management practices and CI/CD processes.
