About The Position

We put you first: Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our facility in Ashland, as the Water Treatment Technician. Help operate the equipment and processes at the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), including the anaerobic reactor, aerobic reactors, DAFs, chemical feed systems, pumps, blowers, and biogas system. Collect and analyze samples from various locations within the wastewater plant to monitor system health and make adjustments. Evaluate sample data in order to make process changes to improve treatment efficiency and maintain compliance. Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) / (CID) responsible for completing daily rounds for his or her area of responsibility.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience working in an industrial setting.
• Prefer 5+ years of wastewater operations experience.
• Commitment to an interdependent safety-first attitude.
• Strong mechanical ability and aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and in a team empowerment culture.
• Ability to communicate well with others.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in the chemical industry.

Responsibilities
