About The Position

Under general supervision, patrols assigned division laterals primarily on swing and graveyard shifts to minimize spills; controls the distribution and flow of irrigation water; makes water changes for users in accordance with water orders; and records headgate settings and measurements on run slips. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school equivalent with supplemental courses in computer operations and records management.
• One year of experience involving customer service, knowledge of county roads, canal locations, computer operations, record keeping procedures, and working in local weather conditions.
• A valid driver's license issued by the State of California, Department of Motor Vehicles.
