The position involves unloading materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stacking them in assigned places. The employee will locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment, identify damages, and report shortages or quality deficiencies. Additionally, the role includes transporting raw materials to production workstations, inspecting machinery to determine the need for repairs, and ensuring safety by performing regular maintenance. Keeping updated records of inventory and activity logs is essential, as well as complying with company policies and legal guidelines. The employee will help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities and participate in the development of a safe and healthy workplace. Compliance with instructions for personal safety and health, as well as that of others, is crucial, along with cooperation with management in fulfilling legislative obligations. Other duties may be assigned by management.
