About The Position

The Warehouse Maintenance Technician at McKesson is responsible for the maintenance, modification, troubleshooting, and repair of various electronic and electro-mechanical systems within the distribution center. This role requires a well-rounded individual with experience in industrial, mechanical, and electrical components, as well as excellent troubleshooting skills to perform complex technical tasks. The technician will work in a dynamic environment, ensuring the functionality of facility systems and equipment to support the overall operations of the distribution center.

Requirements

• Typically requires 1+ years of related experience.
• Experience with troubleshooting control systems ranging from relay logic to microprocessor-based controls.
• Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems including power feeders, transformers, generators, and PLCs.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with contractors and facility teams.
• Ability to measure voltage and current accurately and safely for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Experience with LOTO and OSHA regulations.
• Experience with CMMS programs such as Maintenance Connection.

Nice To Haves

• 1 - 2 years in mechanical/HVAC, electrical, or a combination of both.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, modification, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic and electro-mechanical systems in a distribution center environment.
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance of facility and equipment, including office equipment and furnishings.
• Execute basic electrical projects, spot painting, light construction, and exterior clean-up.
• Provide electrical support for facility systems and equipment, including conveyors, printers, and compressors.
• Demonstrate skills in all phases of facility maintenance, including electrical troubleshooting.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and maintain relationships with them.
• Perform general building and office maintenance.
