About The Position

Dole Fresh Vegetables is looking to add to our 2nd Shift Warehouse Team. This position is a direct hire opportunity with benefits starting on day 1 of employment. The role offers a competitive pay rate of $20.63/hour plus a 0.45 cent shift differential, paid bi-weekly. Employees will receive on-the-job training to enhance their skills as a Warehouse Lead and will have opportunities for growth within the organization. Dole Fresh Vegetables is committed to the development of its employees and prefers to promote from within whenever possible. The position is considered 'safety sensitive' and requires passing an independently administered drug screen.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced Production environment
• Ability to communicate and coordinate with the Warehouse team
• Inventory Control Experience required
• 2-5 years of Warehouse/Shipping Lead Experience
• Forklift license required
• Knowledge of warehouse activities and computer mainframe and Excel spreadsheets
• High School Diploma or GED required; previous work experience considered

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in Spanish or Creole - Preferred but not Required

Responsibilities

• Inventory of finished goods required
• Coordinate the activities of subordinates in order to meet Warehouse needs
• Monitors subordinates breaks and lunches
• Complete Shrinkage Reports and communicate any raw material transfers to Receiving
• Split merge all pallets into system/loading
• Run Pick Tickets
• Help on floor as needed (pick, consolidate, clean, etc.)
• Any other duties assigned
• Employee must adhere to all policies, practices, and SOP's related to producing Safe Quality Food (SQF)
• Ensure the integrity and continued operation of the food safety system in the event of organizational or personnel changes within the company or associated facilities
• Support special projects and other duties as assigned
