About The Position

This position gathers and processes the products required for filling daily customer orders, ensuring accuracy at all times as well as packing products so they are received in good, useable condition.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience.
• Must be a team player.
• Must work well under limited supervision.
• Ability to work within a deadline under pressure and handle interruptions.
• Organizational skills and detail-oriented with a quality mindset.
• Must be able to maintain professional boundaries & confidentiality.
• Computer Proficiency (experience with shipping software, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams a plus).

Nice To Haves

• Experience in warehouse and/or packing and shipping environments.
• Warehousing or fulfillment experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspects pulled products from inventory to check accuracy against the picking ticket, and to determine categories of products (hazardous, refrigerated, etc.).
• Packs merchandise according to packing and shipping standards and procedures.
• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
• Read shipping orders to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to guidelines.
• Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for traffic.
• Assist shipping and receiving unloading & loading trucks.
• Open crates and other containers.
• Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
