About The Position

As VP, Executive Creative Director, you will drive the creative vision and execution for integrated marketing campaigns across our global brand and commerce ecosystem. This role will be responsible for concepting, developing, and leading breakthrough creative across brand, retail, and digital experiences—ensuring that Fanatics continues to lead with bold, culture-shaping storytelling that fuels fandom. You will partner with marketing, brand strategy, social, product, and e-commerce teams to develop campaigns that resonate deeply with fans and reinforce Fanatics as the most innovative brand in sports commerce. This role requires a high-impact creative leader with a proven ability to inspire teams, build iconic campaigns, and execute at the intersection of sports, culture, and e-commerce.

Requirements

  • 15 years of creative leadership experience, with a track record of developing and executing best-in-class marketing campaigns in the apparel/headwear industry.
  • Proven experience leading integrated brand campaigns across digital, social, PR, retail, and experiential channels.
  • Deep passion for sports, culture, and commerce, with an ability to tap into fan insights to drive creative impact.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience mentoring and growing creative teams.
  • Exceptional storytelling, design, and conceptual skills, with a portfolio of work that demonstrates high creative standards.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence at the executive level, ensuring creative solutions align with business strategy.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments, balancing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Lead creative development for global integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring storytelling and visual execution elevate the Fanatics brand.
  • Define and drive brand identity across all marketing touchpoints, ensuring consistency and impact across digital, retail, and social.
  • Develop breakthrough, insight-driven creative that connects deeply with fans and drives engagement, sales, and brand loyalty.
  • Lead a high-performing creative team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and design excellence.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with brand marketing, product, e-commerce, and external agency partners to bring ideas to life.
  • Innovate across content formats, including video, digital, experiential, and emerging media to shape the future of fan engagement.
  • Ensure creative aligns with key business objectives, balancing brand storytelling with performance-driven results.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, identifying opportunities to push creative boundaries and set new benchmarks for sports marketing.
